Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using adaptabite. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About adaptabite
adaptabite provides a weekly meal planning subscription service. Each week we publish dinner recipes built around current sales at Aldi grocery stores, along with a consolidated grocery list. Members select their meals and access full recipe content through their account.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and purchase a subscription. By creating an account you confirm that you are 18 or older.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Plans available:
- 5 dinner plan: $9.99 per month
- 7 dinner plan: $12.99 per month
Free trial: New members receive a 7-day free trial. Your payment method will be charged at the end of the trial period unless you cancel before the trial ends.
Recurring billing: Your subscription renews automatically each month on the date you first subscribed. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each renewal period until you cancel.
Price changes: We may change our subscription prices with at least 30 days notice. If you do not cancel before the price change takes effect, you agree to the new price.
4. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period – you will retain full access to your account and content until then. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods.
To cancel, log in to your account, go to Account Settings, and click Cancel Subscription. If you have trouble cancelling, email us at hello@adaptabite.com and we will cancel it for you within 24 hours.
5. Refunds
We do not offer refunds for subscription payments that have already been processed, except where required by law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us at hello@adaptabite.com within 7 days of the charge and we will review your case.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
All recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, and other content on adaptabite are our original work and are protected by copyright. Your subscription gives you a personal, non-transferable license to access and use this content for your own household use.
You may not:
- Copy, reproduce, or distribute our recipes or content without permission
- Share your account login with others
- Use our content for commercial purposes
7. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password with anyone. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at hello@adaptabite.com.
One account is for one household only. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that appear to be shared across multiple households.
8. Service Availability
We publish new meal plans every Wednesday based on Aldi’s current weekly sales ad. We make every effort to have plans available by Saturday morning each week. Occasionally – due to technical issues, holidays, or circumstances outside our control – there may be delays. We will notify members by email if a plan will be significantly delayed.
We do not guarantee that any specific sale item or recipe will be available in any given week.
9. Disclaimer
Our service is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees about the accuracy of sale prices, the availability of sale items at your specific Aldi location, or the results you will achieve in terms of grocery savings. Actual savings will vary depending on your location, shopping habits, and household size.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, adaptabite is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days before the claim arose.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the state of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
